Position Summary
Nanalysis is a manufacturer and global supplier of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) products for the laboratory instrumentation market.
We are looking for an energetic, positive, hardworking person to add to our dynamic team. The Magnet System Manufacturing Technologist will be tasked with putting the M in NMR! You will build and calibrate with the world’s most compact benchtop NMR magnet arrays and additional equipment. The Magnet System Manufacturing Technologist will report to the Magnet Manufacturing Manager and will support the broader Nanalysis team. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assemble permanent magnet arrays, working safely and following procedures for handling strong permanent magnets
· Calibrate and qualify assemblies following established procedures
· Setup and conduct hardware and software testing
· Product testing and subassembly
· Key items inventory management
· System troubleshooting and problem solving
· New product integration and improvement
Background and Experience Sought:
Strong attention to detail and pride in work
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Deadline driven, with excellent time management
Proficient with hand tools
Skilled with computers
Technician or technologist diploma
Frequent lifting, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

Today, their software, NMRViewJ, is considered to be one of the leading programs that scientists use for NMR data analysis. Their newest open source software, NMRFx Analyst, is under rapid development and includes additional tools for NMR analysis to increase accessibility of processing. Both software suites are compatible on multiple platforms including Mac OS, Windows, and Linux.
In 2022, Nanalysis acquired K’(Prime) Technologies, a Phoenix-based contract sales and service organization that focused on scientific instrumentation and solutions for a wide range of industries. Also in 2022, K’(Prime) was awarded a five-year, $160 million contract with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) to provide maintenance services for passenger screening and imaging equipment in Canadian airports in each province and territory.
