About the role
An exciting immediate opportunity for a Machine Operator & Packer (training provided) to join our established Production team based in our Scoresby plant. This permanent full-time position will function on day shifts across 5 days, starting at 6 am and finishing at 2 pm. A 38-hour week from Monday to Friday. A great opportunity to develop & progress your career with an industry leader and the world’s largest IML manufacturer.
Duties include
Perform production duties including sorting, banding, packaging, labelling, and manual lifting.
Operating a finishing machine – TXR in accordance with training and SOP’s.
Maintain continuous quality control through careful inspection of printed products for clarity and defects.
Follow all work instructions, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to maintain efficiency and resolve issues quickly.
About You
Prior packing or production experience is an advantage, but not essential.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
Ability to visually distinguish all colours (essential for label inspection).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to learning.
A strong focus on safety and following procedures.
Ability to accurately distinguish colours; applicants must not be colour blind, as colour identification is essential for label inspection.
Reliable transport and full Australian working rights required.
