Role Description The Machine Design Engineer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of mechanical systems and automated machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing machine components, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and selecting appropriate materials and mechanisms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, performing design calculations and feasibility analyses, and supporting prototyping, assembly, and testing activities. The engineer will also be expected to troubleshoot design issues, optimize machine performance, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and document design specifications and revisions. Close coordination with vendors, production teams, and quality control will be necessary to ensure successful implementation of machine designs.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical industrial solutions.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing of components and assemblies.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Machinery design and operation, including understanding of mechanical components, drives, and manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess experience in Automation, including integration of mechanical systems with sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively on-site, and attention to safety and quality standards.
• Experience with industrial equipment, materials selection, tolerance analysis, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards will be beneficial.
• Prior experience in machine design projects in manufacturing or automation environments in or around Ahmedabad will be an advantage.
