This is a great opportunity for talented people who can develop as an Logistics & Warehousing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistical aspects of our supply chain to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of goods.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Coordinate Shipments: Arrange and coordinate the transport of goods, both in-and outbound, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate for local transport: smooth coordination between the warehouse service provider and the sales office for timely delivery of the products.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, tracking stock movements and identifying discrepancies.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth clearance processes.
• Communication: Liaise with the service provider and internal teams to communicate shipment details, resolve issues, and provide regular updates on logistics actvities.
• Cost Management: Optimize transportaton costs by evaluating carrier options, negotiating rates, and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address logistical challenges, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to find effective solutions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics coordinaton or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with the capacity to work independently.
• Adaptability to changes in a dynamic logistics environment.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of logistics processes.
