The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of logistics operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties: - Manage order fulfillment processes from receipt to delivery - Coordinate transportation planning and optimize routes for cost-effective delivery - Collaborate with distribution centers to streamline logistics operations - Negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to secure favorable terms - Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track inventory and shipments - Implement process improvements to enhance overall logistics efficiency - Conduct category management to optimize product flow and storage - Oversee supplier management activities to maintain strong relationships Skills: - Proficiency in logistics operations and supply chain management - Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems - Strong negotiation skills for contract management - Knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center processes - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions for process improvement - Familiarity with logistics software and tools for tracking shipments If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for logistics and possess the skills mentioned above, we invite you to apply for the Logistics Specialist position with us.
