Responsibilities:
Manage transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Oversee the overall logistics operations and resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Evaluate and select logistics service providers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan logistics operations accordingly.
Responsible to take care end to end Import and export Clearances, and movement of material from warehouses across the globe.
Supervise Value-Added Services like Re-packing, Re-labelling according to the requirements of the customer.
Manage 3rd party warehouses to store material safely and coordinate to distribute within India.
Coordinate with Clearing Agents proactively to clear shipments in time without demurrages & detention
