Part-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $23/hour
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Location: Scorte Alimentari, 88 Cawthra Ave, Toronto, ON

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Assistant to support our warehouse and delivery operations.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a part-time Warehouse Logistics Assistant who will play a key supporting role in our supply chain by helping to receive, organize, and distribute goods across our restaurants and retail locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, is organized, and understands the importance of accuracy and timeliness in food and retail logistics. This is a part-time in-person position that requires an open availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, and occasionally weekends and holidays.
Description Of Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Logistics Assistant contributes to the overall success of the Scorte Alimentari day to day warehouse operations and delivery logistics. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Receiving and inspecting deliveries for accuracy and quality.
Assisting in organizing and maintaining stock in the warehouse and cold storage areas.
Preparing outgoing orders and deliveries for multiple restaurant and retail locations.
Loading and unloading shipments and assist with basic transportation logistics.
Keeping warehouse areas clean, safe, and compliant with food safety regulations.
Tracking inventory levels and notifying Warehouse Manager when stock is low.
Assisting with inventory counts and reporting.
Supporting the Warehouse Manager and warehouse team with day-to-day tasks.
You Bring:
1+ year experience in a warehouse, retail stockroom, or food service supply environment (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Comfortable with manual work, including lifting boxes (up to 50 lbs).
Familiarity with basic inventory or stock tracking software (Excel, Google Sheets, Agiliron, or similar).
Valid Ontario driver’s license (G-Class) is an asset but not required.
Interest in Italian cuisine and food products is a plus.
Fluent in English.
Basic Italian language skills an asset.
Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain it.
