Job Description
Due to internal promotions and growth, we are looking for a team player and proactive Logistics Coordinator who is looking for a career with potential growth and autonomy!
The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of warehouse and distribution operations. This position supports daily logistics activities, providing an essential link between frontline teams, management, and operational processes. By managing work allocation, problem-solving, and maintaining compliance with safety and efficiency standards, Logistics Coordinators help optimize productivity in a fast-moving FMCG supply chain.
Working within a dynamic environment, Logistics Coordinators oversee workflow continuity, troubleshoot operational challenges, and drive shift-to-shift alignment to enhance service efficiency.
This role requires collaboration with transport carriers, warehouse teams, and inventory management systems to ensure effective execution - We are looking for a natural leader who is both confident and can really take the initiative in ensuring a smooth shift for all and can jump in with ideas and solutions - Maybe you are currently a forklift operative who is passionate about what you do and looking for a role where you can now step up and make an impact in the team!
You will be responsible for the daily management of receiving, picking, and delivery functions while maintaining compliance with operational standards and service excellence, whilst being accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational tasks, including but not limited to:
Safety & Compliance – Active participation in QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health) initiatives to uphold workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Operational Efficiency – Warehouse cost control, continuous improvement activities, and optimization of logistics workflows.
Customer Service & Order Fulfillment – Managing DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time), minimizing pick errors and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy – Reducing stock losses and monitoring inventory integrity (damages, leaks, and discrepancies).
