Coverage required from August 2026 – flexible dates available
Vet Marlborough is seeking an experienced Mixed Animal Locum Veterinarian to support our friendly mixed animal practice while we recruit permanently.
Based in Blenheim, in the heart of the Marlborough region and close to the stunning Marlborough Sounds, this role offers the perfect blend of rewarding rural practice and lifestyle. Enjoy easy access to beaches, scenic walking tracks, mountain biking, world-class wineries, and a vibrant local café scene, all within a relaxed regional community.
The Role
Farm visits, consults, diagnostics and surgery
Providing practical advice and support to our farming clients
Working collaboratively within an experienced, supportive team
Shared afterhours (separate large and small animal rosters)
About You
2+ years’ large animal experience
Confident working independently in the field
Strong communicator and team player
