Job Description
Live Out or Live In Senior Housekeeper required for a young family residing in Primrose Hill with children aged 3.5 and 5.5 with a full time nanny. The family value their privacy hence the early start.

A warm, welcoming private family based in a 5-floor, 350 sqm Victorian building who are seeking a highly professional, emotionally intelligent, and multi-skilled Senior Housekeeper who can seamlessly balance exceptional household care with a relaxed, cozy family environment.
They value "invisible service" and quiet background execution, but they are not a stiff, highly formal household. They want someone who will become a trusted member of their family, maintaining a warm and friendly presence with their children when they interact. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in the background to keep their lives running flawlessly, balancing natural warmth with clear, respectful professional boundaries.
Core Responsibilities
Morning Routine & Culinary Support: Arrive early to prepare breakfast for children and pack healthy lunch boxes. During your shift you will cook and portion premium meals specifically for the children's evening meals so they can be easily served at dinnertime.
Meticulous Housekeeping & Specialist Care: Perform immaculate deep cleaning, daily tidying, and decluttering across all 5 floors of the property. Take full ownership of the specialist cleaning and meticulous preservation of premium interior finishes, delicate surfaces, and fine artwork.
Smart Home & Appliance Management: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot modern high-end household appliances and smart home systems.
Wardrobe Care & Luxury Fabrics: Manage the family’s laundry cycle with the highest level of care. Responsibilities include expert steaming, ironing, folding, and organizing fine clothing and luxury fabrics.
Household Management & PA Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for receiving household deliveries, occasional food shopping, and running personal errands. You will also be responsible for scheduling, liaising with, and overseeing occasional household contractors and tradespeople.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience working specifically within UHNW households. Professional loyalty, absolute discretion, and a stable work history are highly prioritised. You will possess a natural instinct for working quietly in the background, but you also bring a friendly, approachable, and positive demeanour when interacting with the children. Professional Boundaries: The ability to build mutual trust and integrate warmly into the family's home life, while naturally maintaining clear, objective, and respectful professional boundaries with both the adults and children. Strong physical stamina is essential to navigate and manage a 5-story Victorian property, combined with the ability to make autonomous decisions regarding household stock and maintenance.
Excellent references required and the successful candidate must have a current DBS certificate.
Working Days/Hours: Full-Time (Approx. 40 hours a week). Straight shifts, typically 6:00 AM / 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:30 but can start later.
Accommodation: To be finalised
Salary: £55K to £60K gross per annum (depending on experience)
