Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload involving personal injury cases from pre-suit through trial. This role requires effective self-management, the ability to lead and develop support staff, and a strong commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.Duties:Manage a varied caseload of personal injury cases, handling both pre-suit and litigation files.Self-manage time effectively to ensure comprehensive attention to clients and cases.Lead and develop support staff, including providing training and guidance as needed.Dedicate to achieving the best outcomes for all parties associated with the practice.Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.Negotiate settlements and handle presentations with exceptional skills.Screen potential clients to assess the viability of cases.Investigate claims, gather evidence, and document injuries and expenses.Calculate damages and review medical documents to support case arguments.Interview witnesses and prepare clients for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.Represent clients through all stages of trial and counsel them throughout the entire claims process.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership with the Florida Bar and in good standing.5+ years of litigation and trial experience specifically in personal injury law.Proven ability to manage a full caseload and handle complex legal tasks.Experience in drafting and filing litigation documents, and strong skills in negotiation and presentation.Ability to lead and train support staff effectively.Proficient in investigating claims, gathering evidence, and calculating damages.Strong interpersonal and client counseling skills.Experience in preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership with the Florida Bar.Skills:Strong case management and organizational skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.Proficiency in drafting litigation documents and handling complex personal injury cases.Ability to lead and develop support staff.Experience in investigating claims, gathering evidence, and calculating damages.Exceptional interpersonal skills and client counseling capabilities.Competency in preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Company-paid life insurance.401K plan.Fitness incentives.Holiday pay.
