We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Litigation Paralegal with iConect Experience to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team of professional attorneys and play a pivotal role in managing and organizing various legal cases. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in litigation support, proficiency in iConect software, and a deep understanding of legal terminologies, research, and documentation. This position is a full-time, permanent role that requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process.
• Conduct extensive legal research, review, and analyze complex legal documents.
• Utilize iConect software for managing, organizing, and reviewing legal documents and case materials.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and subpoenas.
• Coordinate and manage the production of discovery documents.
• Assist in the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Maintain and update case files, dockets, and deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other legal professionals.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in using iConect software and other legal databases.
• In-depth knowledge of legal research techniques, litigation procedures, and document management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
