Linux Server Administrator

Fullestop is seeking a Linux Server Administrator to manage the development and production infrastructure. This position requires wide and overall knowledge of Linux administration, patching, virtualization, performance analysis, performance tuning, cloud computing technologies and networking technologies. While their primary role is to support operations for the Linux/Unix and Cloud infrastructure, they will also occasionally be required to take an active role in testing applications, and diagnosis of IT problems outside their scope of responsibility.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Ø Installation, Supporting and maintaining Linux RHEL, Ubuntu, with SME knowledge on the Linux platform

Ø Automating and Administering Admin tasks using shell and bash scripting etc

Ø Having knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, OVH Cloud, and Azure)

Ø Having extensive knowledge of SAMBA, LVM, S3, FTP

Ø Deploying, supporting and troubleshooting issues with Linux platforms

Ø Administering Linux server patching and server upgrades

Ø Server hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Ø Monitoring Server logs.

Ø Systems Administration duties, storage management, hardware and software configuration

Ø Knowledge of Kernel Patching, OS upgrade, hardware drivers and firmware upgrades.

Ø Administering Linux servers in the virtual environment (VMware)

Ø Having Knowledge of hosting panels (Cpanel, VestaCP, Plesk)

Ø Monitoring Daily, Weekly and Monthly Backups

Ø Expertise in compilation, installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of common applications such as Nginx, MongoDB, Firewalls

Ø Expertise in monitoring tools like Zabbix.
