Job Description
We're looking for an Experienced PM Linehaul Loader / Forklift Operator to join our Afternoon Shift operations team in Smithfield, NSW.
You'll be responsible for the loading/unloading of interstate linehaul, safely in compliance with Mass Management and Load Restraint Guidelines. You'll be required to verify, document and check accuracy of consignments, weights, dangerous goods compatibility, destination labels (state / onforwarding, ect…) and arrange efficient and effective loading/unloading of local PUD fleet, accurately following best-practice processes for compliance, improvement of procedures and maintaining superior organisational standards in customer care.
Monday - Friday, 2pm Start Daily
Regular Overtime Available
Overtime at Award Rates
Skills and Experience
Forklift Experience, Specifically Line Haul (Essential).
Sound knowledge of Mass Management / Weight Distribution.
Demonstrate understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines.
Comply with all WHS regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Knowledge of hand-held scanning equipment.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling (Advantageous)
A high focus on safety, compliance and reliability.
