ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting an experienced LV Mechanic to join our team in Wangara.
The Light Vehicle Mechanic will report to the workshop supervisor and will be responsible for but not limited to;
Servicing and repairs to a fleet of Light Vehicles.
Maintaining and repairing ancillary equipment such as but not limited to jumping jacks, plate compactors, machine attachments such as brooms, augers
Competent in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fuel system faults
Hose and pump repairs to mobile service units
Maintain a range of pneumatic oil and grease pumps
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fuel system issues
Prepare equipment for mobilisation and demobilisation
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards
Maintain maintenance logs, service history and condition reports
Support site teams with equipment troubleshooting and technical advice
ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS FOR THESE ROLES ARE.
Light Vehicle Trade Certificate
Relevant post trade experience
Field service experience
Medium level of computer literacy with MS Word Suite.
Comply with Ertech and clients HSE, values.
Work autonomously
Team player with leadership skills
Forklift Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening.
