MutualONE has Agents and Independent Insurance Brokers, with business throughout Southwestern Ontario, serviced from office locations in Ilderton ON and Seaforth ON. This is an exciting time for our organizations and an opportunity to join our team at the start of something great!
About the Role
We are looking for a professional, motivated and team-oriented Licensed Sales Agent. This is a full-time hybrid role based out of Ilderton Ontario, reporting to the Manager of Distribution.
Responsibilities
Advise customers, explain coverages, and offer tailored insurance solutions
Build strong relationships with your assigned book of customers
Generate and action referral opportunities to grow the client book of business
Provide professional service and recommendations
Work with CSR partner to deliver policies and requests effectively
Be the first point of contact for Claim Reporting and liaising with Claims Team
Demonstrate sound judgement through frontline underwriting and working closely with Underwriters to determine risk eligibility
Participate in company events that support the communities we serve
Find innovative and creative ways to connect with today’s Mutual clients
The ability to travel on short notice within our primary territory
Successful candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
This role will require travel. A vehicle, valid Driver’s License and insurance are required.
Qualifications & Experience
A current and valid General License (OTL), or the ability to obtain one within 30 days. Note: RIBO Licenses can be transferred to an OTL
Demonstrated sales skills
Having your CIP designation would be an asset
Exceptional relationship building and people skills
Personal Lines and Commercial insurance knowledge.
Farm Insurance experience would be an asset but not a requirement
Strong communication skills
A desire to help improve your community
A Team Player mindset while also having the ability to work with minimal supervision
Attention to detail
A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
