Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Job Description
About Veridian Realty
Veridian Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage headquartered in Mississauga, serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area in commercial, residential, and development transactions. We work with investors, developers, business owners, and individual clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and advisory mandates.
We operate with a small, focused team and a deliberate approach to growth. Every file we take on is handled with the same level of care and preparation regardless of size. We are building something long-term and we are looking for people who want to be part of that from an early stage.
The Role
We are looking for a licensed Real Estate Salesperson to join the Veridian team on a commission-based structure. This is a client-facing role with real responsibility from day one. You will be working directly alongside the Broker of Record on active mandates across residential and commercial transactions, with full access to the firm's legal, advisory, and operational infrastructure.
This is a commission-only position. Compensation is entirely performance-based, with earning potential that reflects the quality and volume of transactions you close. Top performers in the GTA market working within a well-supported brokerage environment can expect to earn between $30,000 and $200,000 annually depending on activity and deal flow. There is no ceiling on what a motivated, well-prepared salesperson can build here.
This is not a role where you are handed leads and told to close them. It is a role for someone who understands that building a serious book of business takes consistent effort, genuine client relationships, and sharp market knowledge — and who wants the right environment to do that.
What You Will Be Doing
Working with buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords across residential and commercial transactions in the GTA. Prospecting and developing your own client base while contributing to shared firm mandates. Conducting property research, preparing comparative market analyses, and supporting clients through every stage of a transaction. Collaborating closely with in-house legal and advisory professionals on complex files. Representing Veridian at client meetings, site visits, and industry events. Staying current on market conditions, zoning changes, and legislative developments affecting buyers, sellers, and investors across the GTA.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario Real Estate Salesperson license registered in good standing with RECO, or actively enrolled in the Humber College Real Estate Salesperson Program
Completed the Humber College Real Estate Salesperson Program or equivalent as recognized by RECO
Registered or eligible to register with the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB)
Strong working knowledge of the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, MLS systems, and standard transaction documentation
Proficiency with technology platforms including transaction management tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally in all client interactions
Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and manage a pipeline independently
Working knowledge of both residential and commercial real estate is a strong asset
Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, French, or other languages is a meaningful asset — multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Post-secondary education in business, finance, law, or a related field is considered an asset but is not required
What We Are Looking For
Someone with a genuine interest in the GTA market and a clear understanding of what it takes to represent clients well
Self-motivated with the discipline to manage a pipeline and client relationships without being micromanaged
A professional who takes pride in preparation, follow-through, and the quality of advice they give their clients
Someone who communicates clearly, shows up prepared, and understands that reputation in this business is built one transaction at a time
A team player who contributes to shared mandates while also taking ownership of their own book of business
Someone who sees the early stage of a growing firm as an opportunity rather than a risk
Comfortable working in a commission-only environment with a clear understanding that income is directly tied to effort and results
Experience is an asset but not a barrier — we are open to newly licensed candidates who are serious about building a real career, not just earning a license
What Veridian Offers
A brokerage environment that operates with institutional standards without institutional bureaucracy. Direct access to senior leadership and in-house legal expertise on every file. A competitive commission structure with no desk fees eating into your earnings. Exposure to a diverse transaction mix spanning residential, commercial, leasing, and development mandates from early in your tenure. On-site parking at our Mississauga office. A platform that is actively being built — the people who join at this stage have a genuine opportunity to grow with the firm rather than into a role that has a ceiling.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position. There is no base salary. Earning potential ranges from $30,000 to $200,000 annually based on performance. Commission splits are discussed during the interview process.
