Licensed Mental Health Clinician (4177+)

Job Summary:

This position requires a professional to provide individual, group, and family counseling services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive social histories, assessing crisis situations, and ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops comprehensive social histories and psychosocial assessments.
Responds to crisis calls within 60 minutes, 24/7.
Orients patients and families to facility services and rights.
Completes safety planning and documentation.
Participates in patient care plan development.
Facilitates social and psychological well-being.
Mediates issues among patients, families, and staff.
Coordinates mental health provider visits and referrals.
Plans discharges and transfers.
Conducts risk assessments.
Involves facility staff in meeting patients' psychosocial needs.
Educates and trains staff on crisis intervention techniques.
Maintains accurate records and reports.
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
2 years of experience in behavioral health crisis services.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist required.
Culturally sensitive and bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole).
Working Conditions:

Primarily works in a professional office/residential setting.
May require some outdoor activities and travel.
