All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG), Bandra (E) invites application for the post of Library Assistant.Location: Teachers Colony Bandra (East)Experience: 0 1 Years (Freshers of 2026-2026 pass out are welcomed from Commerce Background)Below is the criteria for the applicants:Minimum 70% marks in , 60% in .and having Bachelor's degree in Commerce. Certificate Course in Library Science and Information Science.About the Job Profile:1. Sale of Institute's Publication (Books) to the visitors of Library and other Municipal Councils, Corporations and other Institutes.2. Preparing debit bills, pro-forma Invoice.3. Update of mailing list for Institute's published Journals and dispatching.4. Shelving and accessioning of books.5. Yearly Dispatch of AIILSG Diary and Calendars to Government Officials and AIILSG Centres as per requirement.6. Journal Subscription and renewal. Entry in Journal file, processing of the subscribed journal and its display. Entry of Complimentary Journals.7. Study material distribution to SI, LGS, and LSGD Course Students. Distribution of Study material to AIILSG centres as well. Preparation of Challan and bills of the same.8. Maintain stock of Study material (LSGD and LGS)+. Distribution of Stationary to all Staff members, centres in Mumbai and for Training Programmes.10. Maintaining stock of the stationery and bills transactions.11. Maintaining record of stock of books published by our institute.12. Issue return transaction's procedure of text books, reference books, general reading books, journals etc to the students, staff and outside members.13. Newspaper entry in file.14. Cash deposit transaction with Accounts Department.Salary range: Rs. 15,000/- + Provident Fund Deduction (12%)Timings: am to pm (Pickup & Drop from Bandra Depot and Kurla)Holidays : 2nd & 4th Saturday and all public holidaysApplicants can send their applications to .
