Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Level 3 or 4 Apprentice/Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, construction, and plumbing principles, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to develop advanced skills in a professional environment while contributing to essential building infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to project specifications and safety standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and modify plumbing components
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems to ensure optimal operation
Collaborate with team members on construction projects as needed.
Troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems using basic math and schematics for diagnostics
Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety protocols
Skills
Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and schematics reading
Strong understanding of construction processes including carpentry and assembly
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
Experience with heavy lifting safely during installation or repair tasks
Knowledge of safety procedures related to plumbing work environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction settings
This position is ideal for individuals looking to advance their career in plumbing through hands-on experience. Requirements for immediate opening Gas Fitter Certification, Valid Driver's License, Bondable. Demonstrate a Strong Work Ethic & Flexibility. Availability to Work Some Evenings & Weekends and have Good Communication Skills both Written & Verbal.
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
