What you'll do: The position is a AI Hardware Development Engineer position in the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), based in Morrisville, North Carolina. This is an exciting role in the AI Server Development organization that has a strong focus to be the #1 trusted IT Partner in the Datacenter market. Opportunities on the team include developing innovative and complex server designs to meet customer and business needs. These organic designs provide exposure to the latest technologies from Lenovo and its development partners to meet market demands. The role also entails solving unique client challenges through the custom development of solutions and direct engagement with customers. Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Interest in x86 or AMD architecture and sub-system design, including CPU/memory/PCIe and RAID/Networking technologies

Preferred Skills
• Experience in x86 or AMD architecture and hardware design
• Experience in embedded controllers (ex. PSOC, microcontroller), including schematic design and programming logic
• Collaborative experience on projects across a global development organization
• Exposure to EDA schematic design tools for PCB schematic creation and physical design activity
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows Operating systems
• Proficiency in shell scripting (BASH/Perl/Python and Windows Power Shell)
