Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join our successful Response Maintenance Business. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance for our reputable social housing client, with homes based throughout the East Midlands. We want to hear from likeminded individuals who truly care about improving people’s homes and lives.

The Plumber role:
• Completion of 2nd fix plumbing and associated repairs work within social housing/residential premises.
• Typical repairs include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repairs.
• The ability to work professionally and considerately within people’s homes in a customer facing environment

What will you bring as Plumber?
• Qualified with NVQ level 2 in Plumbing
• A proficient level of health and safety awareness and working knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as you will sometimes be working within vulnerable settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Plumber role.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legionella Plumber to join a market leading water hygiene consultancy. You will play a pivotal role in reducing the risk of legionnaires disease across a variety of sites in Greater London.

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled plumber with experience completing legionella compliance works to join an established and growing company where your skills and hard work will be recognised and rewarded.

Legionella Plumber benefits:
• £32,000 - £40,000 basic salary
• Company vehicle fuel card
• 22 days paid holiday + bank holidays
• Over time opportunities
• Training and development opportunities
• Company mobile phone and laptop
• Company Bonus Scheme

Legionella Plumber key duties:
• Working from legionella risk assessments to mitigate risk in water systems
• Services, replacing and installing TMV’s
• Removing of dead legs
• Pipe modifications
• Decommissioning and commissions of CWST’s
• Clean and chlorination’s when required
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Communicating clearly and effectively with clients, customers and team members

Legionella Plumber qualifications experience:
• A full UK driving license is essential for this role
• A level 2 qualification in plumbing is essential
• G3 unvented hot water course will be advantageous
• You must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• You will have a solid understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8
• Must be computer literate
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
