The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our firm in our Family Law department.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking instructions and completing tasks autonomously;
Ensuring work is accurate and delivered in a timely manner;
Typing of dictations;
Preparation of Counsel briefs both physical and electronic;
Monthly billing using Affinity practice management system;
Diary management and managing of timeframes;
Client data entry into Affinity;
Document management using iManage; and
General administrative tasks including photocopying, filing and opening/closing files.
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role, who has a professional telephone manner and is comfortable in dealing with clients and taking accurate instructions.
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude with exceptional time management skills. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential, together with being a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
