The role:
We are currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join our Banking & Finance practice in our Melbourne office. This role will be working with operators at all levels including highly regarded Partners.
General responsibilities will include
Liaising directly with clients
Drafting and amending relevant correspondence and documents
Preparation of briefs
File management including the opening, closing and archiving of files
Monthly client billing and reports plus responding to billing enquires
Personal assistant tasks (diary and travel management)
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2 years’ legal secretarial experience
Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Proficiency using Expert or similar accounting package and FileSite or similar document management system
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of the importance of client confidentiality
The ability to work well with others in a team environment
Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
