Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Practitioner located in Surry Hills, NSW. Flexible arrangements may be considered once familiar with role and obligations.
The Legal Practitioner is responsible for handling various legal matters and issues, providing legal consulting services, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include advising clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Salary is based on experience, is inclusive of Superannuation, and subject to annual review.
Experience
This is a mid-level position, so 4+ years experience with AFSLs, AFS licensees, private equity, venture capital, and/or digital assets and their related legal structures (including Trusts) will be looked upon favourably. Knowledge of PRI-ESG and B-Corp structures is also a bonus.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Bachelor of Law, Juris Doctor (JD), or similar law degree or qualification
Admission to practice law in Australia
