Job Title: Legal Partner (Commercial)

About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a legally qualified, experienced professional with commercial contracts expertise to join our Governance Risk and Compliance and Legal team as a Legal Partner to the Commercial business across the UK and AU.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as a legal partner to the commercial business providing legal input into strategy, risk assessment, and commercialisation.
Driving complex negotiation & contracting across the supply chain and customers, leading negotiations and reviewing/drafting extensive legal agreements.
Drafting customer-facing legal documents and providing strategic legal advice across UK and AU business units.
Working with the DPO on data, digitization, privacy, and managing legal risks to support commercial success.
Improving legal processes for efficiency and staying informed about relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
Qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
Current Practicing Certificate for England and Wales.
Demonstrated ability to recognise and resolve legal issues and manage risk.
Ability to plan, multi-task, organise and control heavy work volume.
Experience of UK Data Protection.
In-house experience preferred.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
'Self-starter' mentality.
Ability to work within a wider risk team.
Interview Process:
Short call with a member of the Talent team.
30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member.
Final Interview and task with two members of the team.
