Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research and analytical skills, and a passion for the legal profession. This role involves assisting senior lawyers, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and supporting various legal proceedings.
Responsibilities:
• Legal Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough legal research on various issues and provide detailed analysis and summaries.
• Stay updated with the latest legal developments, case laws, and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Drafting and Reviewing Documents:
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, and briefs.
• Prepare and organize case files and legal documents for senior lawyers and court proceedings.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to gather information, update them on case progress, and provide basic legal advice under supervision.
• Attend client meetings with senior lawyers and take detailed notes.
• Court and Administrative Support:
• Assist in preparing for court hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings.
• Attend court sessions, hearings, and depositions to support senior lawyers and take notes.
• Case Management:
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
• Administrative Duties:
• Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating with other departments.
• Support the legal team with any other duties as required.
• Professional Development:
• Participate in continuing legal education and professional development activities.
• Seek feedback from senior lawyers and mentors to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Admission to the bar or in the process of obtaining bar admission.
• Experience: Internship or previous experience in a legal setting preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with case management software.
• Understanding of specific practice areas such as corporate law, criminal law, family law, or intellectual property.
• Fluency in additional languages.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
• Office environment with occasional travel for court appearances and client meetings.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
