Legal Assistant (Ahmedabad Location)

Effective handling and monitoring of cases pertaining to Arbitration, court cases, execution of decrees/ court orders. Etc.
• Managing issues pertaining to empanelment of Advocate, Regular Follow up with advocates processing legal expenses and advocates fees etc.
• Timely completion of work relating to Plaints and Petitions, written statements, replies, counter affidavits bank Guarantees/ power of attorney etc including drafting and vetting of select documents.
• Vetting and verification of loan / security documents in advance accounts of Rs. 1 Cr. And above.
• Issuance of various notices to the borrowers / customers etc.
• Preferring appeals revisions petitions etc and assisting recovery department for filing suits/ appeals for recovery legal proceeding etc within time if any.
• Attending court DRT/ Tribunals etc and liaison with official liquidators/ courts officials etc as required. Acting as nodal officer in DRT
• Keeping of data in respect of suit filed and decreed accounts etc and timely monitoring and follow up action.
• Organizing of LOK ADALT and giving legal advice on issues involving of Compromises.
• Providing legal advices to the Branch Managers and Higher Authorities on the issues involving legal matter in Business Development and Banking Operations Matters.

Age

Up to 30 yearsMinimum Graduation in any discipline and LLB (Three Years Course)

Preferred:

i] 5 years integrated LLB course

ii] LLM

iii] Other diploma/certificate course in Laws like Cyber Security, DLP, DTP etc.Experience

I] Should have at least 5 years in any bank, financial institution, insurance co. etc. OR

II]Should have -5- years practical experience in various courts in the matter of LOK-ADALAT, Negotiable Instrument ACT, CONTRACT Act, and Transfer of Property Act etc.

Language Proficiency: To read, write and speak in Gujarati is Must but English and Hindi is desirable. Read more
