We are seeking a highly motivated office admin all rounder to provide legal support to our lawyers. This role is essential for the efficient operation of legal teams and ensuring the smooth progression of legal matters. You will work closely with our lawyers to facilitate the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients. Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Manage lawyer calendars, scheduling appointments, and meetings etc. Organize and maintain legal documents correspondence, and case files. Prepare and process legal documents, including estate planning documents and commercial contracts. Assist in drafting correspondence and legal documents under lawyer supervision. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and communications, including phone calls and emails. Client Interaction and Support: Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, providing information, assistance, and updates as needed. Coordinate client meetings, including. scheduling, preparing materials. Assist in gathering client information, completing forms, and facilitating communication between clients and legal team members. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with lawyers and the wider MEDIQ team to meet deadlines and objectives. Communicate effectively with internal team members and external parties, such as opposing counsel, and clients. Skills and Qualifications: LLB, Corporate Law, Bachelors in Law Prior experience in a legal support role or related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and environments. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
