Job Description
Oyster Renewable Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Legal Professional with expertise in civil, corporate, and renewable energy litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in legal research, drafting, and advocacy, as well as experience in handling diverse legal matters related to the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the management of legal disputes, arbitration, due diligence, and litigation related to renewable energy projects, including representation in courts and specialized tribunals.
• Provide expert legal advice on insolvency, bankruptcy, financial transactions, and intellectual property matters, ensuring risk mitigation and safeguarding organizational interests.
• Review and draft complex legal documents, contracts, agreements, and legal notices with precision and attention to detail.
• Track and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and industry-specific legal obligations.
• Collaborate with external counsel, stakeholders, and government authorities to address legal challenges and opportunities.
Requirements:
• LL.M in Criminal Law, with a strong foundation in civil, corporate, and renewable energy law.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in litigation, legal advisory, and corporate affairs, preferably in the renewable energy industry or related sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, coupled with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research, drafting comprehensive legal opinions, and representing organizations in legal proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of insolvency, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and financial transactions, with a focus on proactive risk management and legal compliance.
