Job Description
We are seeking a Lecturer in A Level Law and/or Criminology to join our A Levels Division. The successful candidate will promote and provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students, and will teach effectively across a range of programmes within the College curriculum.
The role includes thorough planning and evaluation of teaching, accurate assessment and monitoring of student work, effective tutorial and pastoral support, and maintaining high quality records and timely information. You will also contribute to curriculum development, share best practice within divisional and college teams, take part in marketing, recruitment and admissions activity, and undertake invigilation duties when required.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Law, Criminology or a related subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification. You should have detailed knowledge of current AS/A Level Law and/or the Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology, and experience of teaching AS/A Level or Higher Education Law/Criminology.
The salary for this post us up to £40,665
