LeadSenior Python Developer

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a Sr. Python Developer who has a strong understanding and professional experience in Python. The ideal candidate should have experience in development project management solutions such as Jira, development change management solutions such as Git, and an understanding of data structures, including databases, flat-file storage, and manipulation, etc. The candidate should also have experience with REST API and strong information-gathering and researching skills. 

Responsibilities: 

Migrate an existing Java application to Python. 
Design and implement REST APIs. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. 
Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality. 
Identify and troubleshoot issues and bugs in a timely manner. 
Write technical documentation to explain code and processes. 
Requirements: 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 
5+ years of professional experience in Python Application development. 
Ability to read and understand Java Applications. 
Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and data migration. 
Experience with data structures, including databases, flat-file storage, and manipulation, etc. 
Understanding of REST API design and implementation. 
Familiarity with development project management solutions such as Jira and development change management solutions such as Git. 
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. 
Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
Familiarity with any Python framework is a plus.
