Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated instructor to lead Leadership and Public Speaking after-school sessions for students in the Richmond Hill area. If you are passionate about empowering youth, developing communication skills, and encouraging self-confidence, this role is perfect for you!
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead engaging, age-appropriate leadership and public speaking activities for elementary and middle school students
Teach skills such as speech structure, persuasive speaking, storytelling, debate, teamwork, and confidence building
Encourage student participation in presentations, group discussions, and role-play exercises
Foster a positive and supportive environment where every student feels heard and valued
Set up and organize materials before each session; clean up after sessions
Track attendance and provide brief reports as needed
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning space
Ideal Candidate:
Experience teaching, coaching, or leading youth programs (public speaking or leadership experience preferred)
Confident public speaker with strong communication and presentation skills
Energetic, approachable, and inspiring personality
Ability to manage a classroom and adapt lessons for different student needs and levels
Passionate about empowering students and helping them grow in confidence
Compensation:
Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Afterschool Programs Details:
After-school programs are paid per session.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm (1-hour session)
