About DashDice
DashDice is an early-stage mobile game studio building a skill-based PvP strategy game designed for competitive, global play. We are assembling a small, senior team in Pune to take the game from prototype to live MVP and beyond.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Unity developer who has shipped mobile games and understands the technical demands of real-time competitive PvP systems.
The Role
As Lead Unity Developer, you will own the technical foundation of DashDice and lead the Unity development team through MVP delivery and live iteration.
You will be responsible for turning a working prototype into a production-ready mobile game, while setting engineering standards, guiding other developers, and ensuring competitive fairness, performance, and stability.
This is a senior, execution-focused role with real ownership.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the overall Unity architecture and technical direction of the game
• Lead development from prototype → MVP → live builds
• Design and maintain core gameplay systems and PvP match flow
• Implement and validate deterministic turn resolution and fairness logic
• Oversee dice mechanics, ability triggers, and Aura behaviour
• Ensure strong client-side performance and mobile optimisation
• Integrate Unity client with backend services, analytics, and authentication
• Establish coding standards, review code, and mentor Unity developers
• Manage build stability, performance profiling, and release readiness
• Collaborate closely with backend, AI, design, and product leadership
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of professional game development experience
• Strong Unity (C#) expertise with shipped mobile titles
• Prior experience working on PvP or competitive multiplayer games
• Deep understanding of:
• PvP fairness and determinism
• State management and turn-based systems
• Mobile performance constraints
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, execution-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
Nice to Have
• Experience shipping live-service or competitive games
• Familiarity with analytics-driven iteration and balance tuning
• Experience working with backend-integrated game systems
