Position Summary: We are seeking a fast-moving, communicative, and highly collaborative Lead UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. This role is crucial to our MVP development, and the ideal candidate should be prepared to work at a rapid pace, provide consistent feedback, and work hand-in-hand with other team members. This is an equity-only position (0.02%), with no immediate compensation until full funding is secured.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the UI/UX Design Process: Drive the end-to-end design of the MealMatch AI platform, from initial wireframes to final prototypes, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Collaborative MVP Development: Work closely with product managers, developers, and AI/ML engineers to build a functional, user-centered MVP that aligns with MealMatch AI’s vision.
• Conduct User Research: Gather insights from potential users to inform design decisions, making data-driven adjustments to improve usability.
• Create Interactive Prototypes: Develop prototypes and design flows that illustrate intuitive UX/UI interactions.
• Iterate Rapidly: Adapt designs quickly based on feedback from the team, aiming for a user-friendly, streamlined interface.
Requirements:
• Proven Experience: Portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX projects, particularly in building MVPs or digital products.
• Skills in Design Tools: Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• User-Centric Approach: Strong understanding of design thinking and the ability to turn complex user needs into simple, intuitive interfaces.
• Collaborative Spirit: Able to communicate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with a high level of flexibility.
• Speed and Precision: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup setting, delivering high-quality work quickly.
