Senior Expert - 3D & AR/VR
Exp - 7 to 11 Yrs
NP -immediate to 45 Days
Our Global Technical Learning programs and solutions are key in assuring that our employees can work safely, effectively and efficient. The Senior Expert - 3D & AR/VR , reporting to the GTL CoE Deputy General Manager, closely working with GTL Deputy Head, Technical Trainers & Subject Matter Experts produces 3D animations and assets to be used in AR/VR platforms, considering quality standards, trainee learning outcomes and production timelines. This role is responsible to utilize most up-to-date practices and technologies using industry-standard content creation applications
Main tasks / Key responsibilities: Please describe max. 10 key responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify the % of time spent on that respons. Key responsibilities %
● Cooperates with the animation requestors to analyse and understand the 2D/3D visual creation requests using technical document,scripts, storyboards and trainer requests.
● Creates & animates realistic, story-driven character actions that are elegant, exciting, emotional, and compelling for the customers.
● Keeps being updated about current and future training trends and technologies and applies them as needed or as advisable.
● 3D content design by using Maya and Unity/Unreal Engine experience designing mixed reality augmented reality, and/or virtual reality applications as well as shader/pipeline scripting using C++/C#
● Ensure quality and consistency of 3D assets and environments
● Setting up virtual environments for a wide range of AR or VR scenarios, depending on the project type. Crafting intuitive user interactions and immersive experiences for both novice and experienced users.
● Must have worked on at least one AR (Augmented Reality) app.
● Must have: 3D content creation expertise in Maya Skilled in Unity - scripting(C#), UE - scripting(C++), textures, animation, and level building Experience in AR core/ AR Foundation
● Good to have: Experience/ Knowledge of application deployment on Android/iOS environment is an added advantage Experience/ Knowledge of php/mysql is an added advantage
● Analyzing, designing, developing and debugging real time AR software for prototypes and user experiences. Producing VR/AR experiences that are viewable on mobile devices and Web

Areas of functional / technical expertis
● Proven experience as 2D/3D animator to create visuals in industry standards using Adobe Creative Suite & Autodesk Media Packages - Maya 3-5
● Tools Experience in: Unity3D Unreal, Autodesk Maya Blender, OpenGL .NET Java, Vuforia Wikitude VisionLib, ARCore ARKit, HTC-Vive Oculus Vuze 3-5
● Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming and coding best practices, especially in C# and/or C++ for pipeline/shader scripting. 3-5
● Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Animate, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop) 3-5 Other competencies: Skills & Behaviors (e.g. leadership, communication, decisiveness, project management, PC skills, agile delivery etc.):
