We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building robust applications and products using Ruby on Rails, with a strong focus on cloud-hosted solutions.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and its libraries.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deploying applications on the cloud.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
