Position Overview
The Lead or Associate Early Childhood Education Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This position works closely with other educators and families to support each child's growth and curiosity.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Observe, assess, and document children’s progress
Communicate regularly and warmly with families about their child’s day, development, and milestones
Support children with routines such as meals, toileting, and rest times
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional workplace
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Follow center policies, state licensing regulations, and health & safety standards
Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings
Qualifications
Lead Teacher:
Meets state requirements for a Lead Teacher (Early Childhood Education degree, CDA, or equivalent qualifications)
Prior classroom experience preferred
Associate Teacher:
Meets state requirements for an Associate Teacher
Interest or background in early childhood education
Experience working with young children a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
