Role
The job is essential to provide efficient support to GB team to minimise the risks to the Company.
A purpose driven role for you
Due Diligence of proposed parties/distributors to shortlist the best suitable entity having sound legal background and no negative legal issues to protect the interest of the organisation.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts such NDAs, distributor agreement, marketing agency agreements and other agreements/documents in relation to sales, vendor
on boarding, distribution, supply, services and other business related activities etc. and provide legal support, analyse and assess contractual risks in agreements and documents in accordance with applicable law of the respective jurisdiction to protect the interest of organisation.
Providing corporate advisory, legal research of applicable locallaws, compliance of applicable laws and regulations of the respective jurisdictions.
Coordinate with external counsels and internal stakeholders/functions for managing end to end contract management & compliances of applicable laws & regulations.
A Day in the life
The role of this individual will be to support our GB Team with any legal requirements.
Academic Qualification & Experience
BA (LLB) Hons
7-8 years of experience
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of corporate laws, commercial laws, arbitration law, regulatory laws, intellectual property and other laws related to the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts related to distribution, manufacturing, supply,
procurement, services etc.
Preferably, would have worked on similar international assignments.
Good grasp of basic legal knowledge and concepts.
Excellent drafting skills.
Behavioural Skills
Good oral/written communication skills
Self-driven and motivated to take initiatives
Ability to handle pressure and situation with alacrity
Ability to effectively manage time to deliver timely and efficient legal support.
Innovative and analytical thinking to find commercial solutions for the business terms.
