Job Description
• Oversee legal compliance across operations within the Automotive Industry.
Contract Management & Commercial Advisory
Supervise drafting, review and negotiation of:
• Supply and procurement contracts
• Vendor agreements
• Technology transfer/License agreements
• Dealer and distribution agreements
• NDAs, consultancy agreements, service contracts
• Manufacturing and logistics contracts
• Standardize contract templates and improve turnaround time.
• Support implementation of contract lifecycle management systems (CLM).
• Ensure risk-balanced contracting aligned with company policies.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the Automotive Industry.
• Commercial disputes
• Consumer litigation
• Dealer disputes
• Vendor and supply chain disputes
• Regulatory proceedings
• Labour & employment matters
• Tax and indirect tax matters (in coordination
The Successful Applicant
A successful AGM-Legal should have:
• A degree in law from a recognised institution.
• Proven experience in legal roles, preferably in the Automotive or Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to provide strategic legal advice to senior management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory changes.
