Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java development and experience leading and managing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions and leading a team of developers in the development of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and software solutions
Lead and manage a team of developers in the development of high-quality software
Develop and implement software design and coding standards
Work with business analysts and project managers to gather and analyze requirements
Create technical specifications and design documents
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business needs and requirements
Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies
Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
7+ years of experience in Java development, including experience with Java EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of developers
Strong knowledge of software development principles and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and on budget
