Role Overview
As a Lead Engineer - Frontend, you will be at the forefront of our product development, leading the design and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and performant applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and push the boundaries of what's possible in the gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of advanced React Native applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
• Utilize your deep understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and frontend state management (preferably Redux) to architect solutions that ensure optimal performance.
• Design and implement complex UI components with a focus on seamless user experience.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
• Work with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous requests efficiently.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in frontend development, including accessibility and testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, guiding them through end-to-end project delivery.
Preferred Competencies
• React Native Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with React Native and a deep understanding of its advanced concepts.
• JavaScript Mastery: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and frontend state management, with a focus on Redux.
• Performance Optimization: Proven track record in designing performant and scalable applications, with experience in animations and frontend performance optimization.
• Socket and Animation Experience: Experience with sockets and animations is a plus.
• API Integration: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver end-to-end development projects, mentoring junior developers along the way.
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with accessibility best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
