To support this bold vision, we are looking for an accomplished Associate Director – Legal to take charge
of legal strategy and execution across our Go-to-Market initiatives and AI business vertical. This role sits
at the intersection of law, technology, and business, and will be central to enabling growth while
managing risk in highly dynamic and regulated industries.
What will you do?
● Partner with GTM and sales leaders to structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with
distributors, OEMs, enterprise customers, and channel partners.
● Drive agile and compliant GTM execution, including product launches, consumer warranties,
after-sales programs, and marketing communications.
● Advise on AI governance, data usage, licensing, and responsible AI frameworks, ensuring
alignment with DPDP, GDPR, global AI regulations, and emerging Indian laws.
● Shape internal policies around responsible and ethical AI, balancing innovation with regulatory
guardrails.
● Protect and commercialize IP, algorithms, and proprietary datasets across AI and EV businesses.
● Lead implementation of data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, covering cross-border data
transfers and compliance-by-design.
● Manage regulatory risks, disputes, and external counsel strategy, ensuring proactive risk
mitigation.
● Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing commercially relevant legal guidance at
high speed.
What are we looking for?
● LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) with 12–16 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles.
● Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracting; exposure to
consumer-facing industries is a plus.
● Expertise in DPDP, GDPR, AI regulation, consumer law, and commercial negotiations.
● Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business agility.
● Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; experience building or mentoring legal
teams is an advantage.
● A growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving
markets.
