Job Description
• Taggd's Cloud Vision:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team at Taggd. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a vital role in shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Architect cloud solutions that align with Taggd's business goals and technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design technical cloud solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, to optimize performance and cost.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company security policies.
• Develop and document cloud architecture plans, including diagrams and roadmaps.
• Mentor and guide teams on cloud adoption, best practices, and technologies.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of cloud infrastructure issues.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to design and implement robust security frameworks.
• Assist with the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans in the cloud.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or software development, with at least 2 years in a cloud architecture role.
• Professional cloud certification(s) in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as cloud deployment models.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, and an understanding of when to use each.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation of cloud deployments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
