You will be responsible for performing various accounting functions on US clients files, including posting and reconciling Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, and general Journal entries. Additionally, you will support Life Sciencesspecific accounting such as R&D; expense tracking, clinical trial accruals, grant accounting, and deferred revenue. Your role will involve preparing workpapers, accounting schedules, and extracting and preparing various management reports per clients needs. You will also review the work of Staff, provide constructive feedback, and allocate work based on staff availability and competency. Moreover, you will assist in up-skilling staff through proper guidance and adhere to deadlines while self-reviewing work for accuracy and completeness before submission. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant/CPA OR Masters Degree with 2+ years of experience in Life science accounting, preferably in the US. - Prior experience supporting Life Sciences clients is strongly preferred. - Strong conceptual accounting knowledge with the ability to apply US GAAP. - Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, QBO, and Bill.Com. - Strong time management and organizational skills. - Experience with videoconferencing software like MS Teams or Zoom. - Self-starter, collaborative, creative, outgoing, with strong financial analysis skills. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills. - Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and demonstrate excellent work ethics.
