See yourself in our team

The Group Policy Chapter sits within the Compliance Centre of Excellence and supports the governance, development and availability of comprehensive and cohesive standardised Policy Documents across the Group, as well as owning key Compliance Policies which apply across CBA. The team ensures our Policy Documents are accessible to the Group and drives continuous improvement of our policy ecosystem.

Your day could look like, but not limited to:

Reviewing existing compliance Policies to ensure they are clear and comprehensible, reflect regulatory requirements, user needs, and deliver strong compliant outcomes for the Group.
Building excellent stakeholder relationships with Policy Liaisons across the Group to seek feedback on compliance policies, and promote ongoing implementation and embedment of the GPF;
Promoting policy document rationalisation and simplification;
Offering insights into current state to improve operating efficiencies and effective management of policies; and
Effectively and constructively contributing to the Compliance Team and the broader Risk Management function, with a focus on collaboration.

Substantial knowledge of compliance, financial services regulation and banking products and distribution.
Good understanding of different regulatory environments including ASIC requirements and requirements from other key domestic or international regulators (such as ACMA and APRA).
Good understanding of compliance and compliance management principles, frameworks and generally accepted industry practices.
