Job Description
Canmore Rental Management is hiring a full-time Laundry Lead to support our linen department and vacation rental turnover operations.
This is a full-time, 5-shift/week role. Flexible scheduling may be available for the right candidate, including some flexibility around start times, finish times, and specific days depending on operational needs and candidate fit.
About the Role
The Laundry Lead is responsible for keeping the linen department organized, stocked, accurate, and moving during busy turnover days. This is a hands-on lead role that combines daily laundry operations, quality control, team coordination, and inventory tracking.
Responsibilities
Lead daily laundry and linen operations
Sort, wash, dry, fold, organize, and restock linens and towels
Prepare clean linen sets and outgoing laundry bags for vacation rental turnovers
Keep the laundry bay clean, organized, and running smoothly
Check linens for stains, damage, wear, missing items, and guest-readiness
Track linen levels, shortages, damaged items, and replacement needs
Help maintain linen inventory systems and department organization
Support smooth handoff between laundry, cleaners, and operations
Communicate issues clearly to the operations team
Help ensure the right linens are ready for the right units at the right time
Ideal Candidate
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Comfortable taking ownership of a department workflow
Able to work independently once trained
Comfortable with active, repetitive physical work
Strong communicator
Able to keep systems on track during busy changeover periods
Hospitality, housekeeping, vacation rental, hotel, laundry, or inventory experience is an asset
Training available for the right fit
Position Details
Full-time
5 shifts per week
Flexible scheduling may be available for the right candidate
Vehicle preferred, not required
Staff accommodation may be available for the right candidate
