Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain management auditing tools for continuous monitoring and optimization.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely supply and negotiation for better terms with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Identify and develop the skills of pharmacists and team members through regular training programs.
• Ensure proper inventory management, maintaining low levels of stock while ensuring availability, including non-moving and expired stock management.
• Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities for the supply chain and pharmacy department to support strategic growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and certification requirements for the pharmacy and related supply chain operations.
• Monitor price trends and provide market-linked information to the Medical Stores Department (MSD) for better decision-making.
• Adhere to the Disaster Management Program (DMP) and ensure the department complies with patient safety and environmental policies.

Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting, including experience with vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and processes, particularly in the medical field.
• Ability to train, mentor, and assess the competency of pharmacy team members.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance for hospitals and pharmacies, including licensing and certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage stock efficiently and minimize waste.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for handling vendors and suppliers.
