The positions are full time. Candidates must have their own transportation to and from the yard as public transportation is not available.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience
Strong communication skills are required
Moderate knowledge and ability to perform all carpentry related tasks is required
Basic comprehension of the Ontario Building Code and Municipal Codes are preferred
Have some understanding of blueprints, construction drawings and grading plans
Valid G licence is required, and Class A (Restricted) licence is an asset
Basic operational knowledge for small machinery including mini excavator and skid steers is an asset
Responsibilities and Expectations:

Work with Foreman by prioritizing work tasks, keeping focused on current task, maintaining the high work quality standard, and monitoring the schedule.
Ensure installations and landscape carpentry projects are completed safely, effectively and in a timely manner using the appropriate equipment and methods.
Operate a variety of carpentry tools and small equipment to complete set-up, layout and clean-up of all installations and landscape carpentry projects including but not limited to decks, fences, pergolas, sheds, and gazebos.
Must complete vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operations and maintain proper working conditions.
