Job Title: Certified Court Reporter
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Omaha, NE (with potential nationwide travel, primarily within Nebraska)
Duties
• Accurately record and transcribe depositions, public meetings, and other formal proceedings for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Nebraska.
• Organize and facilitate virtual kick-off meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Ensure all transcripts meet federal, state (Nebraska), and local standards, including proper formatting and indexing.
• Travel to various locations as required, with adherence to travel regulations.
Requirements
• Valid court reporting license/certification for Nebraska.
• Notary certification in Nebraska.
• Demonstrated experience in court reporting for a federal government agency.
• Proficiency in remote computer/video equipment for court reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
